Event Description: Join, UCCE Specialists Daniele Zaccaria, Tapan Pathak, Khaled Bali, and Anderson Safre, UCCE Advisors Catherine Mae Culumber, I. Mokwunye, Ahmed Ayoub, and Michael Cahn, and other scientists and experts in this in-person Workshop on “Building Resilient Nut Crop and Grapevine Systems for Extreme and Variable Weather Conditions in the San Joaquin Valley” on June 12^th, 2026 at the UC ANR Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center in Parlier, CA to learn about the latest research and advances in Weather-Adaptive Production Practices for Nut Crops and Grapevine.

Topics include: Extreme Weather Trends and Impacts, Weather-related Challenges for Nut Crop and Grapevine Production, Inaccuracy and Errors of Satellite-derived ET Estimates for Nut Crops and Grapevine, Groundwater Recharge Practices in Orchards. A set of information and tools available to manage weather-related risks will also be presented during the Workshop.

Registration fee is $20 per person and includes participation in the thematic sessions, coffee break, lunch box meal, workshop materials, and access to the workshop presentations.
