This month’s gathering of the Sonoma County Vineyard Technical Group will be hosted at Ridge Vineyards, providing an overview of the new Region 2 Vineyard Order by the North Coast Water Board. The 1.5-hour session will cover key compliance requirements, including sediment and erosion control, stream-side area management and setbacks, road storm proofing, and monitoring and reporting. Presenters Chris Watt and Brenna Sullivan, Senior and Engineering Geologists with the North Coast Water Board, will provide guidance on compliance measures. Additionally, Dayna Ghirardelli from the Sonoma County Farm Bureau will discuss how the Farm Bureau will serve as a collective representative for farmers in relation to the Vineyard Order.
