Join us for an in-depth, two-part workshop on protecting your vineyard from Grapevine Trunk Diseases (GTDs)

Your encouraged to bring vines from your vineyard that you’d like to have dissected and reviewed.

🕒 10:00 AM – Expert Lecture & Demonstration

• Overview & Diagnosis: Learn to monitor, identify field symptoms, and distinguish GTDs from other vineyard problems.

• Cultural & Mechanical Controls: Best practices for sanitation, infected wood removal, vine re-training, and pruning timing.

• Chemical & Biological Tools: Discover registered pruning wound protectants, proper application timing, and how to integrate biological products.

• Putting it Together: Example of an annual IPM program.

🕒 11:00 AM – Hands-On Vine Dissection Workshop

• Bring your own GTD-suspect vine samples or entire vines from your vineyard!

•Participate in hands-on dissection of symptomatic material to see how and where infections begin and progress.

•Learn to identify internal wood symptoms associated with trunk diseases to support practical IPM decisions.
