As in previous editions, the 2025 grape pricing report includes weighted average and median prices per ton by variety. This report takes into account sales to third parties and does not include related-party transactions. If no data are reported at either the statewide or regional level, it is due to an insufficient number of data points received, tons represented in the data, or both.

Please note the following modifications to the 2025 report:

  • Fewer regional and varietal data reported, driven by less data collected. The lower amount of reportable data was due to a combination of:
    • lower response rate (-8% vs 2024);
    • market conditions leading to fewer grape sales to report; and
    • more stringent minimum reporting thresholds.
  • 25th and 75th Percentiles provided in place of Low and High prices, to reduce the impact of outliner data.
  • Incorporation of box and whisker plots, offering a visualization of price distribution by variety.
