I’m not sure why the “Gopher Hawk” trapping is seldom mentioned. I have used them ask – macabre, gophinator and others, but kill rate was always 30-40 % at best. Started using the gopher hawk 2 years ago and now my kill rate is 90%+. From an emeritus farm advisor.

The Gopher Hawk is fantastic. Super easy to set. Not the longest lasting though.

Here in Costa Rica I tried available rat traps but the gophers are too quick.

BUT THIS WORKS GREAT. Find a new fresh gopher tunnel and open it up enough to to insert a road. They get pretty big here, you might need more than one for smaller toads. Then cover the tunnel again. I have used this THREE TIMES WITH 100% SUCCESS. They disappear.
