The San Joaquin County Agricultural Hall of Fame, now in its 36th year, is pleased to announce its 2021 inductees. The Agricultural Hall of Fame honors those individuals who have contributed to agriculture and to their community in significant ways. The honorees will then be recognized at our annual Agricultural Hall of Fame Banquet on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Robert J. Cabral Ag Center, 2101 E. Earhart Ave, Stockton, CA. Tickets are $60 each, prepaid reservations only.
This year’s Hall of Fame Inductees are:
Aldo & Rosalie “Rosie” Togninali (Posthumous)
Among this year’s inductees are the founders of Michael David Winery. Brothers Michael and David Phillips are 5th generation grape growers who have raised their families in the vineyard, Their family has been farming in Lodi since the 1860’s and cultivating wine grapes since the early 20th century. And now the 6th generation has joined the team (Mike’s son Kevin and daughter Melissa). The Philips brothers understand the importance of leaving soil better than they found it for future generations. Their family legacy and love of the land drive their focus on sustainability.
