Unified Wine and Grape Symposium

January 24 - January 26

Hosted by the American Society for Enology & Viticulture (ASEV) and California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG), the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium will be held at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center on January 24-26, in downtown Sacramento. Drawing on the expertise of the 30-plus program committee members, co-chairs Leticia Chacón-Rodríguez from University of California, Davis, and Alisa Jacobson of Turning Tide Wines developed the Unified Symposium’s program for 2023. This year will feature the popular State of the Industry with speakers Jeff Bitter of Allied Grape Growers, Danny Brager of Brager Beverage Alcohol Consulting, Glenn Proctor of Ciatti Brokerage Company, Liz Thach of Sonoma State University and moderator Mike Veseth of The Wine Economist.

A keynote address by Robin McBride of McBride Sisters Wine Company will be featured at the opening day Luncheon. New Spanish Workshop with seminars in grapegrowing, winemaking and consumer trends will transport attendees from the vineyards to the glass of wine. The workshop will feature Arnulfo Solorio from Silverado Farming Company for the Spanish keynote speaker luncheon.
