UC Davis Viticulture & Enology staff are back on the road and headed to Presq’uile Winery in Santa Maria. Growers are welcome to attend and learn about:
-Using novel weather data to guide frost protection practices
-Managing wildfire smoke exposure in the vineyard and winery
-Mitigating heatwave damage to red wine grapes: Are exposure and crop load management still ‘key’ concepts?
-Understanding and controlling phenolic extraction during red wine production
-Demystifying sudden vine collapse
