2016 Oregon Vineyard and Winery Census Report
2016 saw increases in domestic sales for Oregon wine alongside reduced vineyard production. The leader in vineyard planted acreage and production remains Pinot Noir accounting for 64% of all planted acreage and 57% of production. CDFA Approves Increased Winegrape Assessment for PD/GWSS
The PD/GWSS Board voted during their June 19 meeting to recommend the winegrape assessment for the 2017 harvest be set at $1.50 per $1,000 of value. Following the meeting, that recommendation was forwarded to and approved by CDFA Secretary Karen Ross.
